Interested in the 8510 with the 4500. Whats the proper steps for application? 1st apply 4500 mixed with 4 gallons of water and only apply what immediately soaks in, wait 7 days and then apply 1 flood coat of the 8510 to the point of saturation? I have 3840 sq. ft. to seal and protect which has cured for 55 days and was also power troweled. Possible to pm me a quote for whats all needed to get this finished?

Thanks

I am going to reply here because I think the information is useful for others too. Your process is close. On the 8510 its a complete flood coat, past saturation. 300 Sq. Ft. per gallon.

The 4500 is tough to estimate over power troweled concrete.

1 Gallon diluted 4:1 makes 5 gallons.

If we estimate 300 Sq. Ft. per mixed gallon, you would see total of 1500 Sq. Ft. of coverage (usually we say 1000-1200) for each gallon you purchase.

13 Gallons 8510
3 Gallons 4500

On the 4500, its possible the coverage will be way higher. If that is the case, spray it until your concrete dampens. Spray left to right. When you come to the end of a section, go back and hit it again. NO 4500 standing on the concrete.

With the sale order all 1's of the 8510. It's cheaper.

Good timing, my father needs some for his garage and I'm in the process of putting mine in. Are there any issues with storing opened, unused product (8510 and 4500) for a later date?

Placed my 16 gal order! Good chuck of change but way less than epoxy and still have great performance. Can't wait to get this down and actually start using and moving forward with the building. Thanks for all the info when I called the other day, top notch service.

What's the deal with this stuff? Says it makes 4 gallons with the 8510?

https://store.garageflooringllc.com...enetrating-concrete-sealer-and-densifier.html

There has been a lot of back and forth on that. We were able to get the manufacturer to reduce a final set of suggestions to writing and we have posted them here https://www.garageflooringllc.com/images/8510-Modified-Floor-Coat-Application.pdf

Bottom line: Flood coat application requires the use of a densifier first. That densifier can be diluted a little more than usual

Dammit Justin, just saw this. I'm about to pour 1200sf for a metal shop that is going up in August, and PMing you for a quote on 4500 densifier and 8510 has been on my to do list for the last 2 weeks. Literally a day late and a dollar short. I'll get with you when I get closer to needing it.
