I recently came across a 6" Van Dorn Bench Grinder. The tag on the grinder says:
1st line - Van Dorn 6" Heavy Duty Bench Grinder
2nd line - Volts 110/115 Amps 4-5 CYC 50-60
3rd line - RPM 3000-3600 HP 1/3 PH 1
4th line - Type C SER NO 620489

I would appreciate any information you may have. Black and Decker could not help because I did not have a model number. What I would really like is an owners manual so I can put it back together. Thanks!

Nice find, but don't wait on an Owner's Manual for a more-than-fifty-year-old bench grinder. I've never encountered one anywhere ever.

Did you ever figure out the wiring on your Van Dorn Vince grinder? I’m working on one now it has four black wires coming out of it to with cloth coating and two without
