I promised pics of this. Bought it about 2 years ago off of ebay and yet to set it up and use it. Since it still is in kit form, I don't have the heart to use it as it is a bit vintage....

Now THAT is COOL.

Maybe the reason I like it so much, is that when I was a kid in the 60s, the local high school shop teacher had something like that in all his hanging tool boxes. To me, that red and white outline is the last word in garage sophistication.

I'm going to have the inside of my coffin painted like that. Then I'll feel right at home.

I don't see what the function of it is? Does it hang on the wall? I would just chuck it or give it away if I had it, but I don't like having my tools on the wall.

Actually it's sized to fit in their two glass door wall mounted cabinet (think master puller set). I think it's geared more towards a school or craft shop environment.

Ah makes sense. I have seen that before for expensive puller sets. I think the case would come free with the pullers.

I'm thinking of taking a full size picture of it and using it as my desktop on my computer! :bounce: -BWP

GREAT IDEA!! Can I have a copy, if you do that?

Also, if you decide to use it, get a really high resolution, well-lit photograph of it first. You could make reproductions.

The one I'm talking about would be wood framed. It would be a whole kit, cabinet, shadow board and all the puller stuff.

I see used Snappy tool control boards on e bay from time to time going for $25 - $50 sometimes more.....sometimes less.
I would use it as I doubt you can retire from selling it off. :)

If you have the tools for the spots on it I would use it as you could at least enjoy it and get some use out of it and if your carefull it wont be damaged.

My high school auto shop tool room had the same thing hanging on the walls of the tool room. It was an easy way for them to make sure all the tools were returned at the end of the class.

Yes, that does remind me of my dad's master puller set..didn't know the puller set cabinet was that expensive, he got pullers and cabinet and all the accesories nearly new for free, only bad thing is when someone painted the wall around it, they got a little white paint on the edges.

Nate & Rjohnson,

Here is one of my puller sets, I believe this is the set you both are talking about.

Like the idea of using the Kinkos copy and saving the pristine origional. Finding a wall cabinet and filling it would be cool. Now if you can only get to a wall in your shop. lol
