Hello all!

Wondering if anyone would have any information pertaining to the value of this bench vise? Looking to sell it. Jaws are 7" wide by 1.75" tall. Overall height is 12". The word "Cleveland" is stamped on it; unsure if this is the name of the Manufacturing Company or the location where it was manufactured. Very Heavy!

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

That's like a pre 1920 Columbian clamper. "C" in upside down triangle logo. I have a 7" too, but missing the swivel base. Jake in Massachusetts pick it upfor me. I don't member what it cost.

Many thanks for the insightful comments. I don't have much use for such a large vise, and even less in the knowledge department when it comes to old bench vises. Just don't want to undervalue the tool when I list it for sale; i.e. let it go for $50 if it might be worth quite a bit more.

Thanks for taking the time to clarify things, ssdave. I didn't realize there was "damage" to the vise; only some surface rust that one may choose to remove. Not certain exactly what crguy is referring to by "lot of weld on the front jaw". Just for my own learning, can you please explain exactly what that is? As you can tell, I know nearly nothing when it comes to antique vises.

It appears there are holes in the top of the side, towards the rear.
