*edit* sorry, this ends 1/3, not what I indicated in the title

This was mentioned in the Milwaukee thread, but it's worth mentioning here. I have been eyeing the 1/4" fuel and this is the best I've seen lately. It looks like CPO marked down the M12 ratchets. These markdowns will stack with the coupon code HELLO2020 for $20.20 off $100 purchase. But I believe this code ends today (1/2). Hopefully it's obvious but the first O is a letter and the second two 0's are the number zero.

2558-20 (1/2" Fuel) $159 less $20.20 = $139*

2556-20 (1/4" Fuel) $132 less $20.20 = $112*

*add tax for your state, shipping is free

The 3/8" non fuel is also marked down to $90. You would need to add a $10 filler item to use the code. Not as much of a deal, but just mentioning it.

The 3/8" fuel is not marked down, so it's only $169 less the $20.20. Not as much of a deal either.

No mark downs on the extended ratchets, but the coupon code for $20 will work.

I’ll start looking into it but in case anyone knows offhand does the 1/2” have more power than the 3/8” and 1/4” ratchets? I have the fuel and non fuel 3/8” plus the fuel 1/4” already.

40...55...60 ft lbs for 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” fuel models respectively.

The head is too big on the M12 fuel ratchets. I think the extended ratchets are more useful.

I asked a question similar about that a few back but didn't get any answers from anybody about the head size on the new extended ratchets.

Is it the same head as on the regular FUELS?

And its just that the long narrow neck allows for better access in a confined space?

Or is it entirely different?

Also wanted to know the difference in size between the 3/8" and 1/4" if it mattered any

When I found the deal on the 1/4 I had been on the fence for a while due to the size.
The 1/4 head is about the size of the 3/8 non fuel head.
Finally had a chance to compare them at rural king one day.
I have not seen the extended reach ones yet but I would venture to guess that the heads are the same.
You could look for parts diagrams to compare.
For just over $100 I bit, should be here Tuesday.

The extended ratchet will allow you to get to the fasteners deeper in the engine bay.

@DFB, I haven’t seen them side by side, but the head size seems the same looking at the standard 3/8 fuel and the extended model. I would expect the same for the 1/4”.

As for the difference between the 1/4” and 3/8” fuel, the 1/4” is smaller but not as small as the non fuel models. I can probably put up a pic in the next few days after my 1/4” arrives.

Ya thanks...

I kind of figure they are the same.

As bulky as the 2 larger FUELS are (3/8" & 1/2") compared to the original ones just looks "smaller" with the extended neck.

Yup I been debating which extended version to get and leaning towards the 1/4"

Here is a video that shows to 1/4” and 3/8” fuel heads side by side. 2:50 - 4:00 pretty much covers what you might be interested in.

I have used my new 1/4 a bit now and it is nice to be off the air leash. Just wish that the handle wasn't so dam big. It is bigger around and almost as long as my 3/8 air ratchet. I can now see where the slimmer profile of the extended reach ratchet would allow better access but working with that extra length may be a challenge at times.
Maybe one day I will get my wish of a 1/4 cordless ratchet comparable in size to an air tool.

I also really like their concept of the new torque wrenches and would be interested in some real world reviews. They will probably be a hard sell at their msrp though.

This CPO deal had the best price on the M12 FUEL 1/4 ratchet. Delivered promptly and was put to use for a coil-over upgrade project last week. Too bad the 3/8 FUEL ratchet was not part of the deal.
