remember like 6 years ago when they were making the blue point toolboxes? why did they ever stop them? i bought mine only 1 year old at the time for $800. it still works and looks like new. definitely was worth the money. its practically the same as the KRA series with different badges, top lid, drawer liners.
anyone else have one? post pics here. i wish i could find a matching sidebox for this that is used.

I bought that same top box,and the 54 inch bottom box.I like how the drawer pulls come out so far.On Craftsman boxes,I don't like how my fingertips hit the front of the drawer eveytime I pull it out.The drawers pull out great.

On my Blue-point 30 in. top box,in order for it to match my 4000 series KRA top and bottom next to it,I made the same cutout in the front panel for the top compartment,( which is easier to grab stuff from the top compartment since you don't have to reach over the front panel ) and ordered the KRA black trim piece, and the better tubular lock, and even put the gas shocks in it after fabricating special mounts. Then took off the blue tape from the drawer trim,( They are black underneath) So it would all match,I sent out all the aluminum trim on my KRA units and had them anodized black. So with the 2 top/bottom units side by side,it made for a neat looking " Wall of red"

I since converted all back to stock brushed aluminum trim, though.

I like mine a lot,but I've noticed most guys here think much of them,so that's bad if you are selling, but good if you're buying!

for what they are, they do very well. yes the size is small (can't fit the prybar set in any of the drawers unless its on the top) but otherwise, the ball bearings are awesome and very ridgid construction.

the KRA version is a waste of money.
