Your firehouse looks incredible, and I'm sure someone will buy it and convert it into living quarters upstairs - garage downstairs. Good luck in Florida!

Well this will bring me out of lurking. After fighting with the city of New Berlin for years about a large building(40x60), maybe I'll just move! How much are you asking, and are you listed with a realtor?

As a Real Estate Appraiser i'm always interested in special real estate and values. What would a place like that run up north? Thanks

Where are you moving to in Florida?

I wish we could do that here, my wife is all for the idea.

Hey Stranger, I was in your neck of the woods the other day, but it was too late to stop by. Is the rod done yet?

I'm a little late on this thread but there's a fire station for sale in Atlanta just behind the Georgia Tech campus. Everytime i'm in the area I make a point to drive by and dream & drool over it...still for sale and still wanting $1.3 Million including the two building on either side and a gravel lot. I checked the tax records and the property it sits on including the building appraised for $110k!!

If by some crazy chance I won the lottery that would be my first purchase without a doubt, with a modern industrial renovation soon to follow: Italian slate or acid treated polished concrete floors, all stainless steel rollcarts and workbenches...central power, air, vaccuum for exhaust and cleanup, etc. up lighting, downlighting, lift, engine room, machine room, detail area, and the upper floors for the living area overlooking below *sigh* one day! :)

Uh... am I the only one wondering about the exclusive "instant trip to the ER" doorway you've got going on here? :wtf:

Could there be access made to the basement for vehicle storage?

That could be one gorgeous place. 2500 sf of living and 2500 sf of garage - what is any better than that?
