I am just guessing this set was planned to install Mugen NSX around 1992, which had carbon composite outer panels, tuned engine and chassis with saving weight 70kg.
Unfortunately, this Mugen NSX was not released, even almost finished to develop.
Maybe batting with NSX type-R was considered, which was released same year 1982.
KTC Mugen special edition had been developed at the same time with Mugen NSX development.
Finally this set was sold to Mugen customers by Mugen.
