Please give me your opinion on this potential acquisition of vintage 3/4 drive set

Good evening, Gentlemen

I have a chance to buy this set for $60 as a part of a larger deal which will bring me another incomplete but more rare 3/4 inch set. I might either keep it or sell it to recoup the expense of the other set.

Please give me your opinion if it is worth $60 and what it might be worth if resold (though most likely I will keep it). There is a blue metal box which should come with it, which might be form the original set. Does anybody have pictures of BON-E-CON sets boxes from the period when "mercedes" sign ratchet switches were made

There is a catch - I do not have the sizes or further images. I was told that the ratchet is in good working condition, there are no marks on the sockets. The seller is not the original owner. It is located relatively far and can be picked up by somebody I know who also does not know anything about the tools...

Your opinion would be appreciated

Any usa made 3/4 drive set that complete is well worth $60.even harbor freight comparable set is more than that.

Thank you, gentlemen! I appreciate it!
I told the person selling it that I will buy both sets and possibly couple of other tools he wants me to buy. I hope everything will work well and I will be able to show this set and the other set (which I will not name so not to "jinks" the deal) within next month (like always, the best deals are out of easy geographical reach (this one was not even advertised - somebody just mentioned that "somebody knew somebody who might consider selling old incomplete set and I eventually got the phone when I expressed an interest"). I got lucky that I have somebody I know who lives in the area and will try to pick it up for me...

Small update. I acquired both sets for $90
1. Incomplete PLVMB
2. Incomplete Bon-E-Con. I got a blue box from the picture (apparently it was filled with Taiwan staff except for ratchet) and contents of red tray (I was told by the owner that the breaker bar and extension next to the tray were not Bon-E-Con and he did not bring it. Bon-E-Con sockets had some rust and he gave me a discount for buying 2 sets.
The sets are sitting around 100 miles away in my friends house - hopefully will get them within next several months... I will post better pictures and add them to sale thread once I get them and get an idea what is present and missing...

PLVMB: T bar - I wonder if that can be straightened; will need to look up the set - besides sockets the breaker bar is possibly missing
Bon-E-Con: I think I saw a Bonney box which was similar and looked red: hopefully this is a correct one. It will probably need a breaker bar. I suspect that breaker bar in the third picture was from Bon-E-Con set as it looks too similar to Bonney once though the owner denied it and I do not have a better picture...

If anybody has similar sets for PLVMB or Bon-E-Con (or Bonney), please post the pictures and comments...

I have the same Plomb set, only in better shape. You can straighten that handle with a hydraulic press. Just go slow and watch carefully. I will dig out the set and post some pics for you sometime today.

Thank you, gentlemen.

Thehorse13, I would greatly appreciate it. I am wondering if I will now have to hunt down the pebble finish breaker bar...

Yep. You will just like I had to. Fortunately, someone here on GJ had it. Maybe you'll get lucky too.

Thank you! Your set looks great!!! I will have to clean up mine.
It’s interesting, I have second row of sockets. I wonder if they are 3/4 or 1/2 as I see the piece which looks like 3/4 to 1/2 converter (sorry, the right term is just not coming up in my head...)

... hopefully somebody on GJ will have an extra breaker bar...
