Nothing there strikes me as a wildly great deal, but there might be a couple things worth picking up.

I liked them better at $25.00 a year or so ago BUT these 1 5/8" drywall screws are available now at $28.00 for 25#. (They may also give you another discount if you buy 3 boxes at a time. If you talk nice, I have also had them give me the discount buying three different lengths.

ETA....

The 1 1/4" are also currently available for $28.00

ordered some deck screws. Wish I could get 2.5" too, but they don't appear to be on sale.

I might grab the two pack of Milwaukee tape measures and the folding work platform. Don't really need the platform, but it might come in handy.

Nothing is really striking me as a necessity in that ad. Maybe a good couple stocking stuffers for Christmas coming up.

I'm planning on getting the two pack of tapes. I'm always looking for tapes so I figured the more I have the less I'll always be looking.

I want some m12 tools for my cabin was waiting for Black Friday. Always afraid I’ll leave something behind. I have tons of chargers and batteries so just checked Home Depot and the actual tools I’ll use are cheaper now and Fuel versions. Just picked up a drill, driver and hackzall kit. Also got a tool only Inflator. The Inflator is my absolute favorite m12 tool.

I ordered the impact kit in the packout box. Good deal with the impact in like $129 bare tool. Will sell the batteries and charger and have a really good deal. Have been looking at a second impact anyways so when I have another guy working with me or different size screw heads in the same job.

I have been in the Makita 18V system for years. Were I starting over, I'd probably get Milwaukee stuff, but I'm not a pro and like the tools I have. I saw that Makita had a 12V inflator for some time and the company finally came out with an 18V inflator this year and I knew I had to get it. It has immediately become one of my most used tools. It's always handy. I throw it in the car with the toolbox for any long trips. Really good stuff. So, I understand where you're coming from.

I may actually partake of the "buy two 5 AH batteries and a charger and get a 'free' tool deal" this year. Those two batteries plus an angle grinder or circular saw would be very useful for the woodworking I have been doing lately.

very likely I'll grab the Ryobi router for $50, been wanting it to keep a roundover bit in for quick jobs. It rated low on projectfarm comparison to others, but the M18 is way $$ and my other platform. Other than that, nothing really standing out.

I have the full M12 kit they're offering, minus the hackzaw. I grab them more than the M18 stuff, form factor and weight are much nicer for small house projects

Same. I started with M18 with a basic kit, then added M18 items and then M12.

In hindsight, for my uses, I shouldve just got the M12 line :dunno:

planning on the $199 battery kit and Router. Been eyeing the router for awhile, it goes for $130 ish on offerup.

Already have 2 rapid chargers but one acts up every so often, and I can always use more batteries, even if they are 4.0's

you can get the battery kit and free tool now. it is live already online and in stores. heads up, if you do it online and change your zip code to 77551, you can get the router package for 179. free shipping to home too.

This caught my eye
Just a note on this I was thinking about picking this deal up as well but when I went it today to do some browsing it was included as a free tool you could get with the 2 4.0ah battery starter kit. I felt like that was a better deal. So for $200 you get two 4.0 batteries, charger, bag and the multi tool.

The $10.00 Dewalt bins I linked to earlier in the thread are now live in the store (at least in mine).

I picked up the 5 tool M12 package that includes bag, charger and 2 batteries. Had been looking at a driver/drill seperately for $179 with batteries and a charger. Figured for $199 couldn't go wrong with the HD BF deals.

That is a great deal. I went with the fuel 1/2” hammer drill, the fuel 1/4” impact and the hackzall with a 2.0 and 4.0 battery for $229. Don’t need the light and already have the 3/8” driver. If you don’t need the 3/8” driver take a look.

Does anyone think there will be better deals after Thanksgiving this year?

Nothing there strikes me as a wildly great deal, but there might be a couple things worth picking up.

I'll be getting another 56" box with the extra $100 off. I need to buy one anyway. But nothing is making me buy something that wasn't already on my radar.

I think the world being shut down cut into all of the typical sales. Less was able to be made & there are material shortages everywhere. I'm really surprised there are as many Christmas decorations on shelves as I'd seen, I figured the shut downs over the summer would have cut into the supply.

I wonder why every one is leaking. and not releasing.

Tradition. Back when Black Friday ads were only available in the Thanksgiving newspapers there was a lot of secrecy around what the retailers were cutting prices on. Home Depot and Lowe's would compete to get shoppers in their stores first in hopes of getting more of the customer's limited budget.

Tech came along and as usual, the retailers were slow to adapt. People that worked along the production chain of the ads would take scans or pics of the pre-production ads and sell them to some websites that compiled all of them. As tech made this easier the ads leaked earlier and earlier.

These days I think they are "leaks" just to keep the mystique going as long as they can. I'd be shocked if these ads are truly released without authorization from the company anymore. I don't think the deals are nearly as good as they were just 3 or 4 years ago either.
