Well it's been a hell of a year. FU 2020! Bought a new house with a tiny garage. I know BOooooo. Good news is the boss said to build one. Now keep in mind the price of materials has gone crazy here and no one is lacking for work. I was quoted three times more than $65,000 to build a 30x50 Box on our property. :eyecrazy:

So we bought this dump instead. Meet the Adventure Garage. 28'x48' of freedom. She is a fixer upper but for just over what contractors wanted to build a box, we got a box with an apartment 12.5 Acres of land and two 20' deep ponds. My two sons will have a blast! Oh and it's right next to the ball field and playground.

We have lot's of work ahead of us but I believe it was the better investment.

Well It's been a hell of a year and I have managed to get the Apartment portion of the garage mostly done and ready to rent. It's been quite a journey. The boys have had a great time swimming in the pond as well as riding the wheeler and generally raising hell.

New metal siding
New deck and door for the entrance
New floors
Lot's of electrical fixes to bring it to code
New heat pump for HVAC
Lots of paint
Removed half a room to accommodate a future lift
Drilled a new well and layed some serious pipe in the process lol
Installed new plumbing throughout with Pex
Installed Heat pump hot water heater
General cleaning up of the property

I can't wait to put some time into the garage portion of the Garage lol. Allready helped a friend out and replaced the engine in his Honda accord so that was neat. Having a good time so far hope you all stay healthy and classy!
