After much searching and comparing pictures on Google I appear to have a Hofmann Duolift VS 300/320. I think. In an attempt to find more information on this lift I though maybe someone here might know about these older 2 post lifts or maybe even have one that they still use.
Now that I think I know what I have, some spare parts appear to be available including the lifting nut which I have yet to inspect.
My hope is to use this thread to document my restoration progress, however slow it may be, so that there might be a bit more information out there about these.
My understanding is that these may have been sold by Snap-On in the 80's but I have not been able to confirm this yet.

Picked up a replacement motor and control box from a similar old Stenhoj lift. 5hp 220v single phase. Should do the trick. Also got the arms for the adjustable pads as they should fit.
While I was loading these into the car he asked me if I wanted an old drill press he was throwing out for scrap. Turned out to be an old Walker Turner. Needs a little TLC but should make a nice addition to the shop.

Got a chance to get a closer look at the lift nut and safety nut. Looks like there is still a good gap between them but I need to find out what the spec on this should be. The lift screws turn freely with a little sea foam on them and the lift nuts and carriages travel freely along them when laying down. Hopefully that is a good sign but we will see once I get them disassembled.
I also started looking into the wiring from the control box. everything seems in order inside the box and will hopefully be easy enough to get working.

I just acquired an old lift like yours. Were you able to get the safety/jam nut specs? Did you find any information on this part of the mechanism? Thanks
