After all this talk about the Seville Classic Rolling Cabinets I decided to head down to my local Sams Club today. Had to "shoulder tap" to get in since I am not a member.

Anybody have one of these?

Price is good. On the box it says up to 300lbs which seems a little light to me.

I was thinking of something like this and 2 large HD Storage Cabinets http://www.sevilleclassics.com/products.php?pid=88

I have a small tool box already so i won't be putting most of my tools in it.

My concern is the durability of the workbench. I need something that can take some abuse.

I am also considering one of these to replace my existing toolbox http://www.strictlytoolboxes.com/ro...l-boxes-7218-professional-roller-cabinet.html

and 2 Large Gladiator rolling cabinets next to it.

But this option is much more expensive.

Those look like a great deal.

Are the rear casters lockable? They look like it.

Also, as mentioned above, isnt 20" to shallow for a bench?

Maybe bolt two together and use as a nice island bench?

I have had two of the large storage cabinets and two of the small roll around(http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?dest=5&item=384394&pCatg=7085) for about 6 months. In my opinion they are built very nice except for the door fronts, they seem flimsy and easily dented. I would still buy them again, as they are good products and cheaper than about any other comparable alternative. If they would have had the one you posted, I probably would have passed on the two smaller ones and got the one big one.

Good luck, and yes they do take quite a bit of time to assemble.

you can get a pass and buy anything. just go to the main desk and tell them you want a pass to look around. you can still buy but you can not use a check . You can also have someone with a card buy it for you. but again you will have to let them put it on their credit card or use their check and pay them cash up front.

Update: I went and bought the Workbench and 4 of the Cabinets. The workbench took for ever to put together but in the end well worth it. Overall i am pretty impressed based off the price.

The box is heavy so make sure you have help. It comes in 2 boxes and I had to load one at a time.

I'll be spending the day cleaning up the garage a little so will post some pics later.

I picked up a cabinet today, and assembled it. I was actually really impressed with the quality vs. the price. The cabinet took me about an hour and a half to assemble, but is so well marked, that there are no included directions. I thought it was more simple to put together than Sauder furniture, or Ikea stuff.

I've got 2 tall cabinets, a solid maple work bench, and 2 rolling short cabinets. This company makes some top quality pieces. The instructions, parts, tools, and packaging are great too. I'll continue to buy their products. Sam's Club typically stocks these items and the prices are unbelievable compared to the others.

I bought the rolling workbench at Sam's yesterday. Had to borrow a Suburban to get it home. The two boxes weigh about a zillion pounds. I will post an "assembly report" when I put this thing together this weekend.

Since I was there anyway I bought two of the rolling cabinets, I think they were supposed to fit under the "open" maple work table that is sold at Sam's. These guys weigh about a half zillion pounds, and I assume it is because of the maple? tops.

Being able to charge to the Sam's card is dangerous.

The rolling work bench is heavy and wait till you open the box and see all the pieces. Grab a six pack and enjoy the enclosed magnetic screw driver :)

Yes they still have them. I just bought one. Not all Sam's clubs have them. You can ask at the store and they will tell you the closest one that does.
