I'm looking for a new way to store my torx, hex & nut driver T-handles. They just take up too much drawer space in my box.

I am thinking of making a rack for them that hangs off my intermediate box? Does anyone have a rack they have bought or made for t handles?? I'm looking for ideas. Thanks!

I took a block of delrin and drilled holes in it for mine. Although somebody could use wood, steel ,or aluminum or whatever and get the same result. I used delrin because it is tough and easy to machine, and I had a scrap piece that was "donated" by my employer.

I use mine mainly for fixtures on a machine. I have them on shelve right underneath the platen.

Since you have a tuning fork as an avatar, I guess you may have heard of Motion Pro tools. Check out their website or the Pro Circuit website.

You could make a rack and use magnets to stick to the side of the box.

Craftsman has a magnet thing for the side of the tool box, it's pretty strong.

Maybe a screwdriver holder:

The stuff superautobacs posted looks real nice, I'm sure he'll be posting the information about who makes them and where they can be purchased shortly.

Sorry folks. Those are items sold in Japan, and unless you have relatives/friends or plan to go there, it may be a little difficult to source them in.

The fixed version should be quite easy to make on your own though.
Or you can buy the Toptul middle chest just to get a couple holders. :lol_hitti

Seriously though... there's gotta be a manufacturer on this continent that makes something similar, no?

I have a couple sets of their nut drivers with stands...works ok? Guess Im looking for ideas for that same concept. A rack that hangs off the side of my box, and I can store all my freaking T handles out there....and free up some drawer space. Guess Ill get to making one this weekend.

I just drilled out a leftover chunk of 2X4 and stuck them in that :)

On the other hand you could rig up a piece of pegboard to the side of the cabinet and then have a plethora of options available to you.

I used up some peg board tool holders that I bought a couple years ago and never used.

Very nice, and very colorful, first time I've seen the Craftsman T-handle nut drivers (didn't know they made them), nothing better than making it youself.

that rack is super cool. but it looks like it will take up a lot of room.

I'm not sure there is a good way to store T-handle tools that are easily accessible without taking up a lot of space, I have them in a pile in a box and have to go through them to find the one I need. If you have the space it' really nice to be able to be able to easily find the one you want. Maybe a pull out shelf with holes and depressions to hold them in a side box, still a lot of space. I've got an idea but won't be able to do it for awhile, got a list of stuff to do in front of it.

Good find!

Aside from the brand name, the only thing different is the missing rubber pad on the "Mountain" brand version. The product description is a bit odd though.

That's what i'm planning to store all of mine in. I've seen them in action and they seem to work VERY well. They don't take up GOBS of space.

I looked at that one closely a while back....but since 14 of my T-handles are nutdrivers that setup would only work for my hex and torx. So I went with the custom rack.
