So what do you think, is it worth $80?

Found this this morning looking through the local CL. Jumped into the truck and ran down and paid the guy $80. Not a scratch, looks brand new! I know its still a Cman, but heck for the price and condition.....I'm happy. Anyone know the year, and what it cost new?

When you need to sell one, moving etc. radial arm saws and drill presses are hard to give away.

This is the closest out of the 2009-2010 sears catalog I could find. They are both 15" floor models, the one listed I think has a 3/4 horse motor...and the one I picked up is 1 horse. The part number I found on the side is: 137.229250 I found a couple other CL listings for others around the country in the last year or so. Other than that I cant find any info. hmmmm Looks like I got a good deal after all.

$220 for a 1 horse/15" floor model? Cheapest Cman 15" floor I could find on the internet and/or current catalog was $429. Dang that's cheap ($220) for an in store price! I have been looking for a DP for a few weeks, and I would have picked one up for that price if I would have saw that!....glad I didn't I guess after all.

Went to sears today, saw this DP......looks like the quality (even for a craftsman) went down in the last couple years. The table isnt nearly as beefy as the one I got, and the top of the DP at the store is made of plastic (not metal like mine). I feel good about the price now.
