I am looking for a Maytag Skybox for my garage. It's a personal drink vendor that's no longer being produced. Here's a photo of one in Jason427's garage:

Does anyone in the Indianapolis or Louisville area know of a Home Depot or Sears with one still in stock and on clearance? From what I hear, they are going for $99 or $199 on clearance and a few are still out there...

If you know of one still available in Louisville or Indy, please let me know. Thanks!

It appears they were also available at Best Buy...

Anyone seen any still in stock the last couple of weeks?

I found out why they are out of production. Maytag lost the licensing deal(s) for the panels to go in them.

I looked into those about 2 years ago, and I think they are severely limited, since they can only dispense 4 types of drinks, and only hold 24 cans of each. You might want to consider a "real" vending machine. I bought a full-size Coke Vending machine off eBay. I only paid around $200 for the machine, then installed a new compressor for another $200 or so. It holds several hundred cans, and can dispense 7 different types of beverages.

I have been watching full sized vending machines on eBay for a while and most decent ones are going in the $500 range..plus they take up quite a bit more room than I had in mind...

I am still keeping an open mind on that side of things though, I have seen smaller versions in hospital waiting rooms, etc. so maybe one of those will turn up on eBay soon.

Well, I located a couple of these still in stock at Menards stores in the area. They want $404 for the unit and $53 for the stand. That's about $100 off retail for a discontinued unit... :headscrat

But, good news...I won the eBay auction for the one in Louisville for $255
