Hello, I've been hanging around here for a while, figured it was time to post some pics of my garage. Its 30 x 32, 10' ceilings, Insulated, heat and a/c. In the far corner is the "GloPo Speedshop" lounge. Couch, 32" tv hanging, stereo, bar, ref. all the necessities! I installed wood flooring infront of my benches to make it a little easier on my feet. I have many old signs, and two old gas pumps. Thanks, Mike

Very cool. It would be nice to have room for a couch and 32" tv in my shack. I got a lawn chair and a 13" tv. How do you get anything done with all that comfortable stuff in there?? I'd just sit back and watch a race or game hoping the car would fix it's self. Nice garage.

What a great idea. I love the varnished plywood floor and the carpet. The garage looks like a high priced Hot Rod Lounge. You should be proud. Do you take your shoes off when you go the lounge area?

Thanks for the comments. No shoes stay on! The wood is real oak flooring, 3/8" thick glued to the slab. Carpet is berber with Swedish memory foam pad. I'm a builder rep. for a floor covering company, so I have easy/cheap access to new flooring!

Awesome garage! I love the lounge idea, though I wouldn't want it too comfortable, otherwise the wife may end up making me sleep there!

Question - how did you do your ceiling? Couldn't tell if it was drywall or what, but looks cool!

CW, The walls and ceilings are 1/4" meranti plywood. The ceiling is divided in to 4'x4' squares. The squares are stained merlot(red) and ebony(black) to form a checkerboard pattern. The wall sections are divided into 8'x10' blocks, and are stained alternatively red and black. I also have some great halogen lighting for when the work is done. Thanks, Mike

Any more pic's of the Falcon?

I was so mesmerized I didnt see the Bronco, I had two of that body style as well. I had a 69 and a 70. I also had a 78 that was a money pit.

Thanks for the comments! That is a Hurst sticker on the bar mirror. The garage is a pole building. The Bronco and Falcon have both been recently sold. I finished them up and got bored, now I have another project. Mike

I wish I had enough sense to actually sell something before I moved on to the next project.

Very nice garage. Looking forward to seeing what you put in there next.

You sold both vehicles? WOW, I would have atleast kept the Falcon, or given it to a close friend. That was one nice ride. Hope you sold it for alot of cash! I had a buddy who had one once, he gave it away with a bunch of my parts on it. Nice garage by the way, where did you find the stop light, I have been trying to find one FOREVER!

Love what you did to your shop. Good place to go when you are in the dog house with the little woman. I could stay there for days. Nice! Get some buds over to watch the games. All you would need is Pizza.

Mike: That is very nice. That ceiling looks awesome. Those little Broncos are going to start going up in value one of these days (if they already have not). We use to take one of these to a hunting camp I have. It had two gas tanks and needed both of them. That little dude would go through the mud.
