I don't have the nicest garage but I get a lot of work done in it.

I have a 24'x28' double garage. I have electric door on it with a personel door and no windows. I don't want people seeing what's inside if I'm not home.
I keep my 71 Chevy Truck and 07 Tahoe plus I have 2 golf carts sitting behind them working on one all the time. It has a upstairs with heat and A/c for my son. That's his area for games and weight lifting. I plan on a floor system this spring. Clean it good and paint it. One side at a time so I can just move everything from side to side.

Here is one of my carts I'm working on. Electric running less than 12 seconds in a 1/8 mile.

Thanks, yes they do get full in a hurry. I plan on some mods this spring and summer with more shelves and storage over the top of the truck and Tahoe.:bounce:

I had no idea that people were hot rodding golf carts. I am way behind apparently
Nice garage - but one favor please? Paint the drywall. It bothers me. I'll likely get over it if you don't so your choice :lol_hitti

Yea my wife get's pissed everytime she walks in. I just laugh and keep working! I started out going to but then I got to thinking if I wanted to ever put something up I wouldn't know where to start so I left it un painted. I will get it painted this summer I hope when I do the floor.:lol_hitti

sctattooer,
Thanks, I looked at yours before I posted. I like the wall trim. I guess I need to do a little more to mine if I ever get all my carts done.
PassnThru,
Yea I been hot rodding carts now for about 10 years or so.
This was one of my first attemps. 72 volts pulled 680lbs 150' before it ran out of juice!

Perfect size garage, (Though they are never big enough, are they? )

Love the sheer madness of racing golf karts, it has to go a long way toward developing the breed though.

Your wife, like my lady surely realises a misterss with 4 wheels is cheaper to maintain than one in heels :bounce:

Thanks rieferman,

I got to get busy on it again this spring and do some more to it. I want to do the floor and get some cabinets and shelves up in it. Here is a wall inside of it now with my collection of 67-72 chevy trucks and hotwheels. I think I may take it all down and redo it though.

Welcome aboard Andy.

Those carts are awesome. I've always wanted to find an old gasser and drop in a 600cc motor cycle motor. :lol_hitti:willy_nil

Post up more pics of your cart builds please!:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

c5golfguy,

The harley is a 3 wheeler. It needs a lot of TLC! I have the motor in the old play house along with all the other stuff.
