I have MB tool wrap with wrenches screwdrivers and tool for lug nuts. It was included in a tool buy this past weekend. Some of the names on the tools are Hazet, Dowidat, Matador and Unior. Some say made in Germany some do not. The tool wrap is a little musty smelling but could be cleaned. I don't know if there is any demand for these things but I hate to toss them. I really don't want them, so if anyone would like to have them they are yours for the cost of postage. FYI, there are a few dup wrenches, there are 4 8mm 10mm combinations.:headscrat

Got me:headscrat I think this kit came from an 80's era Benz from what the guy told me. I wanted to toss it out here in case it was something people search out before they go to garage sale status.

That's good. I just didn't want to see one like it pop up on Pawn Stars for $2000 after I've lost half the wrenches.

I'm also interested. I own a few older MBs so it could be of use to me. Specifically the tool roll and black wooden screwdriver are important parts of a proper 280SL toolkit. My 280SL is missing a toolkit. THis is not 1980. More like sixties-early 70s.

Looks like Doug J is giving them up to you, stricht8. Let me know where to ship them and I will get them out to you. I'm glad they will help with your restoration. I happen to see these in the floor next to the tools I was buying and asked what they were. Anyway, he said he was going to throw them away, as they went with an old MB he no longer had, and I could take them if I wanted them. My thought was that someone might be looking for these. Glad I took them now.

I'd take them and they'd be used for filling in and completing original MB toolkits. I have two vintage MBs and am involved in two vintage MB clubs.

Hi p1mlb03. Thank you. PM sent.

The tools have shipped via USPS Priority Mail, and should arrive in 2-3 days.
I bubble wrapped that wooden screwdriver handle since you said that was hard to find; just in case the package gets roughed up. :)
