Those of you that have used one, what do you think about it? Is it worth the money? This looks like it could come in handy, but I'm not sure how well it would hold up.

I have one but have never used it. I think it looks like it would break easy.

I think what mrshaun posted the link to would be better.

The Snapon adapter is very useful in certain situations. I have 2 of them and have used them a couple times when nothing else would work. Not something you use very often, but when you need it, it's great to have.

there is one part on an apache helicopter that it takes 2 hours to tear down to get to one little bolt, but with this tool tz1 ( using both attached together ) it takes a few minutes and the job is done....

I have an ancient Blue-Point angle extention. It has 2 bevel gears with the input and output 45degrees off from each other. It is free to turn in the center, so it will go 90degrees. It is 1/2" drive.

stick any length extension into adapter, then add a socket....or add another extension to it, another adapter, another extention, another adaptor..... have some fun and be creative with it bascially. :D

Never had a use for one yet. I agree it does look like it falls into that tool category that you wont use it a lot, but nothing else will take its place when you do find a need for it.

Thanks...still having a hard time visualizing it, but it's probably just me. I guess it would be a lot easier with the adapter in my hands to see how it would rotate.

Interesting how TZ1 is $18.50, and TZ2 is $36.95...and contains only TZ1 (according to the site).

infinite lenght breaker bar. take your long extension 1/4 drive and put one adapter at the end then put your socket on it. or before the socket add the 1/4 ratchet adapter and you now have a super long ratchet. especially if you have a 36inch 1/4 dr extension.

try taking a bolt off the inside of a bumper while you are in front of the bumper.
now add the adapters to your extension ( joining the adapters together where the drive end faces back at you) and put your socket on it. Now it works similar to a crow foot.
when i get my truck back ( going in the shop this weekend) and have the pieces i will take pics of different ways to make them work for you.

I have the 90 socket adapters 1/2 and 3/8, I find them usefull for speed, not breaking bolts loose.

Don't feel lonesome, I cannot grasp the concept either.

This card comes with the FZ1 to show some applications using the adapter. There are many other possibilities - just use your imagination.
