I don't have that many tools made by Astro Pneumatic (a 1/4" impact wrench, a ratchet, and a bunch of protective wheel sockets) but their warranty has been excellent. One of the protective socket had a cracked protective plastic piece and I called them up about it and they had a replacement at my house in two days .. :)

Quality of their products are excellent ..

I think Astro Pneumatic makes their own tools and they are usually rebadged by other vendors. If you're going to use the air tools daily, I would opt for IR or perhaps CP depending on the tool.

AstroPneumaticToolCo; so, do you design your own air tools or just purchase oem designs from other companies?

I have a large assortment of astro die grinders at work. I use them daily and I push them hard. I've yet to have one fail, and they are reasonably priced. I will continue to buy their products.

I have been thinking of purchasing one of their Euro Pro HVLP spray guns. Anyone had any experience with their spray guns?

20 plus years ago, I bought an AP 3/8 butterfly to use setting up combine heads. Used hell out of it for years, never had any issues. The place I bought it from, and the Allis Chalmers dealer I worked for are long gone though!

I have their mini 1/4 air ratchet and grinder 2 pack and for the price they can not be beat. They are professional grade tools at a diy price point

I have an Astro HVLP gun think its a Qual can't remember... Did a bunch of research before buying it 4ish years ago. They are hands down the best HVLP guns for the money, I have heard some Snap on guys carry them and sell them off their trucks. They are a knock off of a high end gun and a friend of mine that owns a couple body shops here in Houston used mine when he was helping me and was super impressed with the gun as well. Hope this helps... if you need more info Google is your friend TONS of people love the Astro paint guns.

I believe they makre their own tools. They are a good usable tool from what Ive seen but, they are not a long lasting tool. For around the same money a lot of Ingersoll stuff could be purchased. In my experience, especially with all the track work we do at work, nothing outlasts an ingersoll rand 1/2" impact. We have tried them all and IR reigns after all the others have fizzled. Just my .02

I have a 3/8” AP impact wrench and like it quite a lot. Made in Taiwan, well-built but not an IR. They’re a good value brand IMO. Pretty sure they make their own stuff up and down the product line. Can’t say I’m overly impressed with their one-and-done appearance on this thread however…

On here, we don't consider a company to be a manufacturer unless it owns the factory(ies) at least for it's hardline tools. FWIW, Snap-on does not make all of its tools. Even at times not their wrenches.

I bought a set that included a die grinder, an angle die grinder and a set of carbide burrs. For the 130$ it cost me I am very happy. The carbide burrs are good, not great but good. I do realize that a great set of carbide burrs would likely cost as much as the whole outfit cost me so I am still happy

Been using my new Astro Nano 1/2" drive impact at work the past two weeks. It's awesome, plenty of torque, nice and light, feels good in the hand, and of course will get into tighter spots then a full size impact. I bought two: one for work and one for home.
