Dig it! I put a 32" last September and it helps keep me out there. the more I am in the garage the more I get accomplished. The only issue is that between DIY, SPEED and WFN channels my want/hobby list keeps growing!

I think it would have been a lot more amusing if EVERYONE would have kept commenting on EVERYTHING in that shot EXCEPT the tv.

Add me to the list of **** retentives who first saw the long zip ties. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

Can you cut your tails off your zip-ties please? My **** is retaining.

Can you please post pics of your garage with the zip-ties cut so we can all sleep tonight ? This is the biggest OCD website on the planet (myself included) and those uncut ties could very well cause a meltdown .

Holy **** Batman! :Homer:

The picture was taking just after the TV was mounted and turned on. The wiring was no where near finished. The zip ties have been cut and some wire loom added.

And it's Titebond III not II.

My apologies for de-railing your thread. I got more response to that one comment than the majority of the threads I create here.

Now we can all rest easy. No more disruptance in the force.:bounce: All kidding aside, A tv in the garage is on my wish list. There's something about it in the background that relaxes me and I'd get more done if I had the races on outside instead of sitting in the house watching them . ( I think)

I can only have a TV in the cave, as long as it is not larger than the TV in the house. It might be difficult. We have a 60 inch in the house.

Nice addition.

And the zip tails don't bother me. I know a bunch of rednecks.

I think from now on, the standard comment when anyone posts a photo that hits our collective big red "OCD" button is, "There is a disturbance in the force". :bounce:

The Hoover GUV was one of my better purchases. The 31ft. hose gets anywhere in the shop and it's quieter than a regular shop vac. Cleaning the filter is a bit of a pain, but the filter is washable and not disposable like so many others.

why would you want a tv in the garage anyway?:headscrat

if i want to watch tv, i go in the house, i work in the garage and focus on what i'm doing, this way I don't chop off my finger or something stupid like that

Because it's cool and perfectly safe....Beer in one hand, torch or circular saw in the other, one eye on the tv and you still have one eye left for your project:thumbup:

Call it a way to escape, or in my house, with four kids, a way to control the remote.

because not everyone uses a garage for the same uses as you. some people also use the garage as a place to hang out and have a drink with friends or just to escape the mayhem in the rest of the house. also, sometimes its nice if youre just tinkering around with little things to look up and see whats on every once in awhile too.

Great looking TV. I like the 10" tall blocks in the wall too. Always interesting to see the different way things are built in different parts of the country.
