I've got a Gladiator gear wall on the entire back of my garage and sporadically on the sides...so I wanted to go with a color scheme or maybe just a solid color to compliment that. On the same token I don't want to go to dark...

So show me your repainted garages!

I went with galvanized along with light gray wall and epoxy floor paint.

Not very good pictures but you'll get a general idea. I wanted something bright but thought doing it all in the "garage liner" pegboard was too much. I went with a white / graytone wood look paneling 36" up then 48" of the pegboard in the center section and finished off the top 20" with the same paneling as the bottom. Used regular casing painted the same blue / gray as the exterior of the garage. Light gray trim between the pegboard and upper paneling and light gray 1/2 round at the ceiling. I'm about 70% finished but already the light color makes the garage appear larger.

I love the blue in my garage. Blue is supposed to be a calming color and I think it works.

I went with maritime blue for the same reason "mjozefow" stated, plus it gives a sense of more space.

I used 5/8 osb for my walls and before I painted them, you had the distinct impression of working inside of a cardboard box.

Good luck.

The blue is nice. I like Jack's green color too though..... Both are much better than my "tar paper and wall stud" color....

Dark Brown Curb/Base
Darker Tan

Accent wall. I cant believe i'm the first to post one on here. You could do one wall colored in homage to your favorite car company/college team/state/whatever.

Here's a sample of my paint scheme... i went with Dark gray on the bottom and a lighter gray as you can see. It's over OSB, I took my time and caulked the seams and primered before painting. The stripes took lots of patience but I'm glad I did it.

I get lots of comments from friends.
