Finally a place to put all of my ****. Tools, tools, and more tools. From empty shop that didn't even have tire marks on the floor...to workable shop space. I still have some other things to bring over and set up. Like a hydraulic 10000 lb press and a big drill press. For now it is working out for my projects though.
Found this beauty in Seattle. Old house new shop in back. With room to park about 6 cars if you pack em in. The lady had it built less than 6 months ago. For her clothes.....WTF? There is also a basement garage that you can park in but you can barely get out of your car.The house is in great shape and has been well maintained.
So far in the shop I helped SeattleZ32nut pull his plenum due to a crack in the PCV bung. My G/F's Mazda Millenia service. Little stuff on my truck. Some little stuff on my Z. Now I have my buddies 98 Durango in for his new Paxton Supercharger!!!
So here are some pics of the setup process of my shop...
The shop from the alley...
Inside
Building the bench...
I think that should hold at least a ton.....(A little overbuilt!)
Shelves up above head height for storage of heavy objects...(Yes you could throw an engine block or ****** up there!)
Finished bench. Finally got rid of some old 4 x 6 beams that I had been carrying around for years. The supports were from my other house I just remodeled. The bracket in the center was for another house I remodeled but rejected as soon as I saw the weld. Was supposed to be seamless for aesthetics, they sent me new ones but didn't want to pay for shipping the old ones back.lol
The other side and shelves too...and my buddy trying to make sense of Paxtons 8-10 hour install for the supercharger....HAHAHAHAHAHA...yeah right.
So.......More additions to the shop! It's a box but what was in it? HMMMMM.
:rejoice:
I have a free standing Drill Press variable speed that is now in the corner and a 10,000 lb Press.
I made this thread a while ago so I just copy and pasted the Text. I have since done many, many builds on 90-96 300ZX's. These cars are what I specialize in but my love for old Muscle is what got me started.
Thanks for lookin'!
