My father and I are taking our Dodge SRT-10 on the One Lap of America race, we leave this week. I was surprised how much I could get into this Snap-On cantilever box without everything being a huge mess.

The socket drawer side has 3/8" sockets 6-26mm, spark plug sockets, swivels, 1/2 to 3/8" adapter, torx and hex bits. Under that is a breaker bar, two ratchets, a bunch of extensions, and one of the screwdriver handles you can use as a 3/8" driver.

On the other side, I've got a bunch of different pliers, screwdrivers, a scraper, and a strikable pry bar underneath.

In the bottom of the box, I've got a code scanner, a ratcheting screwdriver kit, locking pliers, ratcheting wrenches 8-19mm, punches and chisels, a small hammer, and some gloves. It all fits in and lets the box close up.

I got a lot of good ideas from you guys here searching through toolbox threads on what to put into this box. Thanks for the help.

Looking good! I'd recommend some duct tape (aka 100 mph tape) and some zip ties. Won't look pretty but you'll be happy you have them if you need them.

Are you carring any spare parts (light bulbs, belts, wiper blades)?

Safety wire would be another good thing to have just in case, and a bit of wire and electrical tape at least. I'll stop now or you will be so weighted down you'll never get anywhere. lol

Does that UT-22 actually have Snap on embossed on it any where? I saw a very similiar box the other day. The seller claimed it was Snap on but, there was nothing on the box to indicate Snap on.:headscrat

There is nothing on the box itself that says Snap-On. It has a manufacturing sticker that looks just like one of the stickers on their big roller cabinets. I bought it new directly from Snap-On, and figured it was going to be marked Blue-Point, but it's not marked that either. I have a KRA24 box that has Snap-On embossed into the front of the box, and they do like to advertise their name, so it's odd they wouldn't put their name on it.

In separate plastic bins in the truck, we have a floor jack, jack stands, torque wrench, lug wrench, oil, spare fuses, serpentine belt, brake pads, tape/wire/zip-ties, rags, etc.... Probably way more than we need, and I'll probably get really tired of hauling it all out of the bed of the truck before each event.

my box that I got about 15 years ago from my uncle didnt have the snap on logo on it either. Kind of wish it did. Guess I could get a toolbox logo and stick it to the outside....

I was looking at a UT-22 on our local SK dealer's truck last week and it didn't have any SO markings on it. In fact we we're doubting that it was SO cause it was riding consignment. Its kinda beat up and the guy wanted $75 for it so I passed. I'd kinda like to have one but not at that for one that was pretty hammered. I was surprised to see they still sell them new.

Does the UT22 come with the tray/floor liners like pictured in the first post?

I was really hoping to participate in the onelap this year however prior engagements kept me from that. Hopefully next year I'll give it another go.

Tools get beat up and scuffed riding around in a vehicle. If you've got some rougher looking tools take them instead.

I'd want a multimeter in the kit.
