They are horrible things. Not well constructed at all. You should just throw away that rain check right now. In fact, why don't you mail that raincheck to me and I'll throw it away for you. I will in fact burn it so that it disappears completely from the world.

have you seen the one he's talking about? obviously not. It's built really well. The drawers slide really nice. For $72 that is a heck of a deal

I have one that I use as my main box for my apartment. It is very well constructed, much better than the craftsman cart I looked at. The ball bearing slides are also very smooth. If you do a search on here, someone actually posted a very positive review on the cart.

I used one at my shop for about a year. Once I got it, I worked primarily out of it for most normal stuff. Rolled it all over the place. I paid around $100 for it I think on a sale. Worth every penny. Has held up great. Now I use it at home for overflow of tools and a portable work surface. Was going to sell it but decided to keep it to take to the track. Easy to roll on/off a trailer. Holds all of my common tools. For the money you really can't beat it. Wish the top area was deeper though so screwdrivers would fit in the slots along the side.

the sarcasm mentioned here

Hehe. That was definitely sarcasm but I guess it wasn't that clear. In any case, I bought this when it was on sale for 89. I should've bought like 3. They are definitely not the best out there but are better than the much more expensive craftsman.

does HF accept copies of rain checks? If so, how about posting that baby for those of us who "lost" our rain checks for this box?

I have one of these carts myself and would highly recommend one. Especially at the price that you can get it for. Actually spent the last two nights using it a lot. The drawers work smoothly, the casters work smoothly, lid works well, nice drawer liners etc. The screwdriver driver area in the top had plenty of room for my drivers. All-in-all, a great cart.

I've had one for a couple of years now. It's great. I've got a Snap-on side cab mounted on it with a vise, a MAC folding side shelf, and a Co2 setup for running air tools without dragging a hose around.

I use the cart daily and have no issues with it. It is far superior to the Craftsman/Waterloo carts.

I picked one up last sale, $89 / $95.** w/tx. out the door. My cupon limited purchase to qty. 5, I got a rain check for one, wish I had gotten a second.
It took about two weeks for the store to get more stock and honor the rain check.
I agree, they are made as well or better than the Cman cart, and a solid value at the regular price, the sale price makes it an extreme value.
Casters are better than both of my Cman BB 5 drawer bases (decades appart in manufacture), all four casters on the HF cart swivel, two lock, very manuverable.
Assembly, well... maybe a bit of a pain.
The two longer bolts are for the handle FYI, and my hardware count was exact, NO extras.

I like it, using it at home for some overflow, and it's kinda' nice to cruise out into the driveway with for projects on the kids cars.

good cart. I own one. Alos own 2 snap-on carts and boxes from craftsman to snap-on. It is almost as good as the snap-on one. 100% better than any craftsman unit. I think Blue Point sold the exact same box at one time.....lol! True!

I actually picked up one of these boxes for $76 about 6 mos ago, For the money you cant go wrong. It provides storage for my tools that are in For sale mode here at the house. I didnt reinforce any of the locations but it was you typical Mass Produced box, Some of the holes didnt line up so good and took a little tweaking to get the bolts in. Once you get the 50+ bolts it gets pretty solid. Mind you im not using my box as a roller cart, It is stationary and i cant comment on how it rolls around fully loaded.

If it's anything like the service cart I got, make sure you use locktite on every nut and bolt. The hardware that comes with them is ungodly cheap and I've found that it loosens very easily. I was using mine outside on 1b limestone, so it got flexed a little more than someone with a concrete floor.

That isn't the same box as the HF box. Bottom drawer depth is different and the bolts are different.

I like my NAPA Tool Cart made by Homak.Top compartment is nice and deep along with the bottom drawer.I paid much more than the HF Tool Cart, but I think it was worth it.I had a Blue Point Cart that I paid about $50 for it new.I sold it for more than I paid for it,so I think I made out ok with the new cart

isn't the big red cart (#95272- the 700lb capacity model) a better deal at $120 ((149-20%)?

I've been seriously considering that cart... I've got a bunch of coupons to get it for $99. But am I the only one considering getting this one:
http://www.harborfreight.com/five-d...hftusa&utm_medium=hftusa&utm_campaign=buylink

It's going on sale for $150 next week, which means it'll be $120 with the usual 20% off coupon savings. I've compared the two carts side by side and the 5 drawer seems to be better quality and more features. I especially like the hydraulic lifts on the 5 drawer's top.

yeah the red one is a bit more rugged.. but I didn't really see the need. I wouldn't have it that loaded anyways. I wanted the black one so it matched my current toolbox too, so that kinda made up my mind
