I am getting ready to order a HD9.

They quote the width between the RAMPS is 37.5-44"

How is easy is it to go back and forth with adjusting the width ?

Is it just a matter of removing a few bolts,,,and moving the ramp over ?,,,,or does it require messing with the cables,,,adjustments ,,,, etc

thanks

Doug

One ramp has the hydro cylinder, pulleys, and cables in it. And the other one is completely empty with just 4 bolts holding it in place. Although is does weigh like 500lbs it is easy enough to push over by yourself once you take out the bolts.

There are only 2 sets of holes, one set at the 37.5" mark and one set at the 44" mark. You can use it in between those spacings but just won't be able to reinsert the bolts.

Bendpak tech states that it does not require the bolts to be in the non-powerside ramp for use if you adjust it frequently or need it in-between those settings, but to move it on the caster set it needs to be locked back together.
