The top box is listed in the sale ad. Just scroll down a bit, it's listed at a sale price of $299.99

Ok guys, i'm going to spoil your fun. The box is only $350 with a clip-out coupon in an ad i got. It also lists that the box is on sale for $400. So you can't use a 20% off of $350 as far as i know.

It's $349.99 on their online store, just print off the page or put it in your cart and print off your cart and take it in to the store they will match the price, then you can still use your 20% coupon in the store.

I think you need to do some more reading. SOME (not all, it can depend on a managers mood), HF will price match their POSTED WEB price, IF YOU TAKE A PRINTOUT (or can show them online, etc). That ISN'T a coupon, then you use your 20% off coupon.

Now if they start being a dck about it..

I've never had any problems getting a price match as long as you have the printout, it is the same company so I don't know why they would have a problem with it but I am sure there are some Managers out there who have a stick stuck somewhere.

I'd be surprised if you could get it for $349 - 20% unless you had a real idiot for a cashier.

I'm tempted to go to my local store tomorrow, I'll bet $50 they don't have any of it in stock, never do.

Why's that as long as you have the printout? Not trying to start anything just really would like to know if you have had an experience where they didn't honor an online price, I am also from Iowa and have never had a problem with the one in Des Moines.

and if they don't have any in stock, they give out rainchecks.

thats why you print out the internet ad for the price match in store. internet ad is not a coupon so you can still get the 20% off on top of that. don't use the sale paper

You can't use a coupon and 20% off, you're better off just using the 20%. I have the bottom box, with a top, and two lockers. For the money, you can't go wrong.

That is correct that's why you need to print off the page from the web, its not a coupon price just a sale price. Then you can use your 20% coupon also.

I took one of those coupons to my local Harbor Freight and they said that the coupon was a fake. I asked why they thought it was a fake and they said that Harbor Freight didn't have coupons good for a year. I told he that it came from the Harbor Freight Web site but that didn't seem to matter.

Side Note:
I called the local store today and the box is $349.99 and they will take a 20% off coupon and there is seven in stock.

hi, go to local doctors office, check out magazine adds for HF coupons, remove , go to store and buy! these boxes are great. The last sale was even better. Me and my brother got 4 bottoms, two tops, and 4 side drawers. Two weeks ago they had the red tool cart for 149.00 That was the 5 drawer one. well worth it. it has the big casters like the big roll a round one, double shocks on lid, and each drawer has a separate locking latch plus the drawers are alittle bigger than the big roll around. got it for 125.00 with 20% coupon too.

all they have to do is scan the bar code and it should already be in the system with the online coupons. i've never had a problem with them.

and if not, spend $5 on a car magazine and get one out of there. gives ya something good to read and you still save a bunch of money

I can take that $50 in check or money order :lol_hitti Went to the HF in Des Moines today (I assume that is the one your go to) and to my amazement they had one on display. I didn't ask if they had anymore but thats good enough to get a rain check at least if they don't have anymore.

I got my 5drawer cart new for under $100. Hell of a deal.

My HF always matches online prices w/ a printout and lets you use a 20% coupon on top of it.

My local store had 5 this morning...man I should have bought one and got it for $230 after getting $50 from you. :bounce:

i just got one at the $300 mark OTD from the Edison, NJ store.

when the day ended today, there were 4 left in stock, so get them fast. the guy who helped me said these things usually fly 'off the shelf', going 3 or 4 in a day.

i thought it would be too heavy to unload, but my neighbor and i just lifted it out of our minivan without much of a problem.

very happy!

I had my first unusual experience at HF today. All the sockets, ratchets, ratcheting wrenches, other special wrenches and sockets are all locked up in a cabinet above all the other wrenches and sockets, and when i asked to get the cabinet open to grab a ratchet, i picked it out and wasn't allowed to walk around with it in the store :headscrat the lady gave it to the cashier and i had to wait in line then when i got up there i had to say i was the one with the ratchet  i've been to other HF's and my local HF is the only one with that stuff locked away and it makes no sense to me. What's the big deal if someones walking around the store with an $8 ratchet? theres more expensive stuff not locked up makes no sense. Anyways i still love the ratchet.

BTW did anybody pick up the 41" toolbox yet?

got one of these about a month back. Pice matched the internet ad. + used a 20% off printed coupon. Cashier just rung me up no problems. It's packaged pretty nicely all crated up. Nice build quality too.

Basic I bought too soon savings 101… Buy another one at the discounted price and then return it using your old higher priced receipt. Though, that’s a lot of back breaking work to save a few bucks.

Hmmm... I guess I still don't understand. Returning the old unit bought off sale would not net any savings. Just a basic price adjustment... refund old price and repurchase at sales price. Why does the receipt not show that adjustment?

I'd love to buy that cabinet right now for that price. Been waiting for it to come back down. Really don't have the dough at the moment though :( Tempting..

I've had them price match an online listing and use 20%..Shouldn't be a problem at all.

I imagine HF will get tougher about the 20% off coupons though soon.. They can't just keep giving them out like this. Eventually they'll be like 10%, and they won't accept computer printouts, etc..
