Gents,
Here's the latest (g-job) project out of the Garage-Mahal. I scoured the internet for pics and ideas for a cart for my welding gear. I saw a lot of cool designs, but none that incorporated everything that I wanted. Soooooo....
In the famous words of Tim Taylor, "I rewired it!"
The pics should be self-explanatory, but here's a list of what's on it:
1. shiny new Lincoln PRECISION TIG 225 (with hand Amptrol, no pedal)
2. Lincoln Weld-Pak 155 MIG (flux core, mostly for quick work & tacks)
3. Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 38 Plasma (painted red to match)
4. big, honkin Argon cylinder for the TIG.
5. water/dirt filter for plasma (plumbed & mounted behind the plasma)
6. area for all the TIG rods.
7. clamps, magnets, etc...
8. storage "box" (the diamond plate top) for tungstens, gloves, etc...
9. hooks for all cables, masks and jacket.
10. four 110v outlets (from the back of the TIG!)
11. hangars for 4" grinders (grind wheel, 40 grit flapper, 80 grit flapper)
12. painted Hammerite black (just like my tubing bender project)
Constructed of leftover scraps, bed frames, expanded metal and 1" tubing. All the welding was done by the small MIG for convenience.
Now I just wheel it over to where I want to weld/fab, and everything I need is right here!
