I voted Snap-On because it is #1 for me but I like Klein, Craftsman Pro,Husky Pro and I even like the 99 cent Pittsburg Pro From Harborfreight. When it comes to screwdrivers if it feels good in the hand, grips the screw well and last it's aces in my book.

aren't matco and witte the same thing? same goes for cornwell? so you could pull matco off of there and add in one of the others that someone brought up or name it witte/matco/cornwell

I use my Klein insulated screwdrivers most of the time, but then again I work with electricity most of the time.

Zero0cell,

There's been many posts regarding comparisons about hard-handle Williams / S-O screwdrivers in the past. Try using the search function. :)

I have the Williams ones and I've been using them flat out since I've gotten them. The first thing I have noticed is the white lettering on my most commonly used drivers is pretty much gone.....not sure if that happens to Snap Ons. All the same, I work around Skydrol quite a bit and that stuff seems to eat stuff like that.

The #2 Phillips also seems a little funky.......It doesn't seem to really bite like some others and I've been thinking about exchanging it for another one. Not sure how the same Snap on one compares. The rest have been excellent.

Thanks for the feedback. Phillips drivers in general no matter what brand do always seem to cause more trouble than the flat heads don't they... :( (unless you are counting the people using their flat heads for prybars)

:+1: on the PH2. It fits poorly on most screws I've encountered. Worst PH2 I've got.

I voted Snap On, and that's true for flat blade screwdrivers. I'm finding I use a cordless drill more and more for just about everything else, including phillips, torx, hex, square drive, and clutch head. It allows me to put more force in keeping the bit engaged while the motor does the turning. It's faster, too. I would use it for flat blades too, but it's hard to keep them centered as the motor speeds up.
