The work bench has a stool like from a kitchen counter for chain saw sharpening or rebuilding extension cords "never had to do that :)"
just a foam pad or cardboard under the "car wheel well"

I sit on my tractor seat, when I stop to take a break... otherwise, I'm working.

i love those old dentist and barber chairs. a lot of times they seem more comfortable than a new recliner

Big old blue fold-out campchair. Feet up on a drummers bench.

Need to celebrate - final building inspection yesterday and 200 amp service to the house today.

Feeling very proud of what I've done !!!!

usually a milk crate, or the floor.
i have a CM "mechanics" seat that i rarely use, it usually gets hung up on something when i try to roll around, and end up on my *** anyway.

I dont think those spindly looking legs would hold me up either...

Ive got a garage sale kitchen chair or two for now, and when needed,I bust out the lawn chairs for the guests...

I don't know who made it. But I have had it for 20 years and it was used when I got it. If I'm working at the bench I use a stool.

What are the dominions of the base of your stole and the up-rights?

Thanks,
Gary

I have a few choices...

Picked this bar stool up at an auction this summer for a buck...

This came out of my dad's television sales and repair shop. He passed away in 1977 when I was 14 and this was the only thing I wanted from his store. I spent many days sitting on that stool, drinking coffee, watching TV and visiting with my dad as he worked. I will never get rid of it...too many memories. :)

My mobile work seat...

I also have three of these stashed in the storage shed in case friends come over...
