WOW... This was online for 1 & 1/2 weeks until last night. This Snap on box came from the original owners daughter. It was purchased new and went to work at lear, after retiring this man brought it all home. His wife developed cancer and he moved the entire family from L.A to Chicago area for treatment he shipped the box and every single tool as well, when treatment and recovery were done he moved them back to L.A. This tool box has not left the man's home since today.
It is PACKED with Snap On,corn well, plvmb, vchech and on and on. I have just layed out the snap on stuff only and am going back out to get the plvmb & corn well ready to share with you guys.

The box and ALL the tools cost more than $349.00 and less than $351.00:shocking: I am uploading and going back to sort, I will see you shortly. This is all snap on, blue point . The codes I glanced at were 1947,1953.
sorry the 4 or 5 wrenches center are corn well, far right 3 or 4 misc. the rest is S/O , blue point

She had no idea what she had.

Sure she did. She had her fathers tools and tool box. My father did this exact exact same thing three years ago with my grandfathers five snap on roll aways, except they did not advertise. It was some lucky SOB in wayne, N.J. when I asked my father why the fu@K did you sell your FATHER'S tools? his answer was very quick 'I have my own" believe me that blew me away. last night after I scored this box & tools I called my father and told him I found someone as clueless as him, we finally made peace about that. Honestly this is a metal box made by a co. named snap on nothing more. It will only be mine for a while and then one day when I am gone it will move on & so on. I did stop today before going back for the box and tools and picked up a thank you card for the daughter.

I personally would never pay what these wrenches would command on e bay or what you may think they are worth, They are very nice but, not worth that kind of money to me. different strokes for different folks " the daughters husband is very happy to have a drywall rasp now"

When I have money I never find deals like that. It's when I don't have money deals are everywhere.

I hear that. I was trying to accummulate a 3k roll to jump on stuff when I get great opportunities. My wife losing her part time job is just making that impossible though. Instead of building it every penny I make is just trying to feed the kids.

I had the pleasure of seeing this snap-on cabinet in person today when I was picking up the Kennedy shop desk (seen in pictures above) and it looks fabulous. I wish I can find something like that for my shop.

Johny, thanks a lot for a great deal on the shop desk and it was a pleasure seeing you again.

Ilya.

The coolness factor is awesome. The tools look to be in very nice shape for their age. I've scored some nice old SO in the past but nothing as nice nor as many pieces at one time.

You sir are a lucky man and yes you do deserve the mega HOOVER award!!!
