I've been lurking for awhile, love this site. Felt it was time to post some pictures of my garage. I'm almost finished. Zipup ceiling next. Then epoxy floor. Then compressor.

Here is one, I,ve got some more somewhere, I,ll look for them
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u42/crewbus2002/100_7151.jpg

My garage is 23x23, I walled off a 6x9 corner for storage, Its a little messy in there at the moment so no pics,
I,m looking at a Zip up ceiling or lowes version right now, not sure which on to go with.
Also looking at floor coating, thinking about Epoxy coat brand or the Sherman williams, not sure which one will hold up better,
And I,m compressor shopping, I like the Eaton ones but I,m going to research a little more.
The car is a 66 vw with a 6 inch chop and 2 inch channel, 32 ford front axle and brakes,36 ford pop out windsheild, Lots left to do on it.
Thanks for all the  it makes all the work worth it

WOW! I'll be right over to drink your blue moon too. The bug and the garage are really nice.
Did you paint the fridge or were you able to purchase it red? That Bug is NICE! Amazing amount of work done to that body!

Fantasic space! That red is really a mood lifter, just makes you want to do something  .
So what is a zipup ceiling?
For an epoxy recommendation, we used www.originalcolorchips.com and have been extremely pleased with it. The price was good and their customer service is awesome.

Nice garage:thumbup: I like the red cabinets and overheads. I was thinking about doing that to mine but you never really know until you see some. And I have never seen any until now. The red really stands out and looks great. So now I know what one of my projects are for summer!!! You definately have the place to hang out.

Nicely done. And you get 100% from me because you are a fellow VW nut!

Nice to see other VeeDub folks on this list.

Have fun working on the Bug. I am about ready to start using my new shop also to work on my VWs. Just a few more things I gotta do.

Nice setup. I did a 57 ProStreet bug in the late 80's people thought I was nuts. The car was all tires in the back.

Nice setup, and nice job on the VW...love the windshield! Are you rolling it like that, or is it still a work in progress?

I've been tempted to build one like that myself, but I think I'm more apt to find a truck to match the windshield these days.

Very nice work - I've been looking at the same ceiling choice as well.

The bench behind the bug looks great - is that something you built?

I used a kit from 2x4 basics, Its nice and stable, I screwed an extra piece of 3/4 inch plywood to the top and coated it with a urethane stain, when it gets to beat up I can unscrew it and put a new one on

No the car is still a work in progress, I have taken it around the block a couple times but it still needs a few things

Thanks for all the  . The fridge is an old one I got free, I painted it and stole an craftsman emblem off one of my boxes, I was going to paint black panels on the front and use 1/2 chrome side trim to make it look like a big toolbox but I like it more the was it is.

Thanks

I think it's a much bigger accomplishment, efficiently using a small shop and staying so organized, than many of the huge shops on here.Great shop, thanks for sharing.
