I ordered and just recieved 3x s761-1, s760-1 and the female couplers. Is there a preferance between Brass or Steel?
I had the steel shipped, but I can return and ask for Brass if they make them in "V".

Thanks, JASTECH

Brass would be better if the will see outdoor use or you have bad problems with rust.

I prefer steel couplers myself.

I ordered mine from Northern Tools. Waiting for F-couplers then I will post how all my air tools respond to the HVLP couplers.

Thanks, JASTECH

I've bought them from both Northern and Floyd Tool. I don't remember what the deal with Floyd tool was--I think they had some variants that Northern didn't stock, but I can't remember exactly right now. Their price was competitive and support a small shop is a good thing.

Hi I'm new to pneumatic tools... can someone please point to me what do all the various types of couples are meant for? I see the term automotive, n, m, etc styles. I looked around google didn't find what to show what the differences are and what is most common and most useful. Can someone please explain... sorry if this is thread jack... I hope this would give more information to this thread.

Where did you get yours from? I'm having a hard time finding the "V" series here locally.

I just bought some V couplings at Farm and Fleet. The price was good, they were U.S. made and the quality is good. I bought brass females and steel males.
