Looking at a used Hydra Lift 9000 lb. two post asymmetric lift. I will be using it at home/farm shop. I have 16' ceiling height and want to use for 3/4 ton diesel pickup and smaller vehicles. Any pros or cons of this lift?
Thanks.

The best used lifts come from the 1980's. I honestly don't have a preference between a generic "Canadian" lift which may or maynot use components manufactured overseas and one comming directly from China. I am not familiar with the particular brank you mentioned. The best part is you can inspect the lift to know how the seals and various other components are holding up. I would imagine this lift would work well enough for just about anyone's personal space.

you wll need know what pounds of your diesel truck to make sure it is less than 9,000 lbs lifts so lifter would not need to over load work and break something like line or seals. my works have 7 9,000lbs lifts and it is work goods but i had to check the dodge ram to make sure it can go on lifter or can't.

Hydra lifts are notorious for trying to get repair parts. If it's their "screw" design, it will be even worse. Whenever someone wants to trade one in around here, we give scrap metal value as a trade. You can find a better value in a different brand of used lift.

Get a used 80's vintage roary or mohawk. You can always get parts. They willl also never need parts
