Reed No. 0 pipe vise & bender for sale
According to the casting:
grips 1/8" to 2"
bends 1/8 to 3/4"
Made in Erie PA
United States Patent 2005161 & 2005162 (about 1935)
Jaws are still sharp and it looks like the bottom ones have serrations on both sides (in case you wear one side out I presume). I put a few drops of oil on the screw and it turns smoothly.
A nice and compact pipe vise that has some rust but otherwise in good condition. I have had it as a spare back-up pipe vise it the garage for the past 20 years and I do such little pipe work I do not ever see needing it.
