On a similar note, in Roanoke, Va., there's a former Triumph/MG/Austin-Healey/Brit motorbike dealership that, over a period of 60 years, went from a nascent BSA motorcycle dealer to a succession of British car franchises to a repair shop for the region's perishing British car population to a restoration shop that brought "back from the dead" many cars they had actually sold new. All from the same location on Rt. 11 north of downtown Roanoke. Byron Webb started as a young man "doing the ton" on his BSA on the two-lane roads of central VA and he grew his business and adapted it as the conditions changed. As far as I know, he's still selling restored Triumphs out of the showroom to this day. Here's a picture taken at a gathering of the local LBC community in 2009. Byron Webb is the gent in the white shirt in the doorway.
