When my garage was built, it was built as just a solid slab. No drains, and no pitch for the water to run out. So all the snow that melts off of my vehicles just pools in the low spots. Is there anything like a water dam or something like that which would go around the cars? If I could at least contain the mess of water, salt, and chat it would make my life much easier.

I really like not cleaning 24" of snow off my truck. lol not really an option. It's worth the work when compared to a cold snowy truck.

Maybe built yourself a slightly pitched platform to park on adding ribbed runners to allow the water to drain towards the door.

wife just looked at the computer and I quote "I could think of a lot better things to spend $140 on". I responded with "well, all that **** that comes off the cars that I spend hours a week rinsing out of the garage eventually ends up in the house if I don't do it, how bouts I just quit doing it?". I win.

When my floor was poured it was pitched front to back, but what happens is that the water runs towards the corners. When warm weather gets back around, I am going to have some control joints cut in so the water will not pass the groove. It works well where I have a cut in one portion of my garage but there is no score line in the other. I also have a furnace blower that I can plug in and move around to keep the water dried up after I squeegee it out. Luckily I have a carwash about 2 1/2 miles down the road that I can blast most of it off before I park in the garage.
