I have a cast iron top Craftsman table saw that I bought from my Dad before he died. He's been gone for 20 years now, and I have drug that saw from spot to spot to work around it till I wore the rubber feet off it. It has been underwater, had new bearings, and is still ticking. I took some time to build this dolly for the saw, and cut the legs off the saw to keep the working height that I like. (Hope Dad forgives me). I made the base a little wider than the spread of the saw legs in one direction to give a little more stability because of the width of the saw with the table extensions. The front casters are fixed, with brakes, and the rear casters swivel for steering. I added four bolts after the pics to hold the dolly onto the legs. It is like riding after you have been walking! I will be painting the saw and installing a nice shop-built fence at a later date.
