Where and when to buy a Hot Dawg or Mr. Heater?

Just wondering where is the best place online to buy one of these heaters from? Also, I've read some posts saying they bought them on sale from time to time. Do they generally go on sale as spring/summer roll around? Last of all, do you like the Hot Dawg or Mr. Heater? Thanks. Scott

Northern Tool had the Mr. Heater on sale a few months ago. It might be worth a call to them to see if there are any left at the sale price. I also don't know if they stock them, or they are shipped from the factory. If they are shipped from the factory, then they might be inclined to make a sale at the sale price since there is no handling involved, other than the paper work. If it is a stocked item that they ship out of there warehouse, and there are none left, then you are out of luck.

If you watch the sales Northern will have the Mr Heater for 30-40 % off every few months. Modine is in the process of upgrading their ignition system on the Hot Dawg series and should be in full production by August.(I'm supposed to be getting one of the first ones) I'd watch for a Possibe a close out on their previous unit.

Got my HotDawg at QC Supply, good people and best price at the time. Got a thremostat I can Turn OFF also. I would buy you own piping though according to your town inspectors regs. I had to return all they sold me with the unit because my town wanted stainless steel.

You'll like your HotDawg. Lots of great install info on this site. With the exception of Beetroots difficulties, I think everyone has been very happy with them.
