So I never see this ratchet mentioned, but it seems to have a lot of features for the price. I found it under the Husky name at HD for $19.99 - 20% HF coupon = $16.00. It also sells at Walmart under the Stanley name for $30. The ratchet includes a set of 3/8" drive SAE sockets 3/8" - 13/16" on a rail.

Specifics:
-The chrome is decent but not perfect
-The locking mechanism works great
-The extension is smooth and has 5 positions
-The ratchet is 14" extended
-The flex head has detents for a total of 5 positions
-My only dislike is the 45 tooth mechanism

I have used a ratchet that had a similar head like the one you showed has, but different handle and it was a Stanley and I have a few Stanley sockets and also have a Stanley 3/8 ratchet that's a few years old. The Stanley ratchet I have has aged well and after I re-lubed it it became very smooth actually. The one you have posted seams to be a newer model of the one I have and depending on what your expectations are is a fairly decent ratchet, I would prefer it over a Craftsman raised panel ratchet for sure. These tools for being classified as "low grade" are of decent quality the one's I have used at least. I would not use them professionally but if your on a budget they will get the job done.

I've got that husky ratchet, it works well. Never really pushed it a whole lot, mainly just use my snappy 3/8 flex head, but seems to hold up fairly well.

That is my favorite ratchet that I can afford. It is just so handy. I don't think there is a better engineered ratchet out there.

I got a previous generaton husky extendable flex head ratchet and I have to say that it's been really really good so far. Parents got it as part of christmas over 10 years ago, and this was when I was a teenager and beat on ratchets with a hammer because I put the oil drain plug on too tight and kept fighting to take it off. So it (and the oil drain plug) were heavily abused. looking back I don't see how I didn't strip the drain plug. I know better now, but the ratchet is still in my box getting some use to this day. Now I don't know if the newer ones will be as good, mine's over 10 years old. I recently took it apart and lubed it and I couldn't see any damage to the gear or pawl from where I beat on it.

Putting super lube in it will help the mechanism, it did on mine. I now have an armstrong MAXX series that's similar to the husky, just not extendable because I liked the locking flex of the husky so much I wanted a better quality one. Now I use the husky if I need a little more length than the armstrong for what ever reason.

This is my longest 3/8" ratchet and it's still running strong. I prefer my Matco 88s, but this is great value for just $20
