and I must say they are outstanding! Garth was excellent to deal with, super quick shipping and even saved me from my screw up on the zip code for my work were I hadf them sent. Definitely will be getting more, the 1/4" is just too f*ckin' cool, especially since I have big hands.

What does the countersink do? I thought they needed to be run at high speeds by a drill? Is it just for deburring holes?

I mainly use mine for deburring/chamfering holes.
I suppose if you had really fast fingers you could use it for actually countersinking a hole! :lol_hitti

I guess I could do it. In order to fit a handle on a pipe wrench of reasonable size, I'd either have to use one frickin' large handle, or remove most of the "meat" of the wrench, causing me to seriously question the integrity of the wrench under load considering they're cast and not forged like a ratchet.

A little off topic, but if you need to warranty one of those craftsman custom handled ratchets, it will send the people at sears for a loop!

Great ideas but I would rather have made toothbrush handles with the new snap on handles or even a plunger handle than waste them on harbor freight anything...That place is more evil than Walmart.....

Here a pic of the new Craftsman hard handles next to a few of my 1980 Matco (made by Wright) ratchets, along with some late 70's SK and a few new Wrights and a few Dual 80's on te side cab of my service cart at home. I thought a few of you might want to see the size of the 1/4" compared to a SK 1/4" & SK/Facom 1/4" flex.

Garth, I received the tools today. You do unbelievable work.
You should sell your ideas to the Big Three tool makers.
I will be placing another order soon.

Just got another order in today.

The boys in the shop love 'em.

Problem is everything costs me x3 because I have to buy three sets of everything!!!

Meanwhile, I hope I am helping Garth pay for his kids' college tuition!!!

To source new components, machine, and assemble a 3/8" SK with green handle would be $75 [2011 prices]. If I sourced used components, or you provided any or all of them, the price could be reduced.

Nice work , shame the cost of postage to over here (uk) would be a killer as id love a 3/8" snap on ratchet with a green 'hard' screwdriver handle (maybe later this year, thats if you'd send them overseas... )
