I am ordering a few things from sears online in a little while and cannot for the life of me find a 1 1/2" Impact socket (shallow or deep) Without sorting through 400 pages. I am using it for trailer balls and do want a 50 dollar Mac or SO. Do they even make one that big? Just thought it would be convienient because I am already ordering from them. Part number or link maybe? Thanks for any help. I am very computer savy but think their site is annoying to find stuff.

they only go up to 1 1/16 in 1/2 drive impact sockets but they have a 1 1/2 in chrome. try looking in the power tool section you'll find it in 3/4 drive.

Yea, I forgot to mention I found it in 3/4" and 1" drive. I believe the 3/4" drive one is around 50 bucks, so might as well get one from Snap-on.

I will look around then. I could'nt spend 50 bucks on a socket to only use once in a while.

That will work great. Thanks! I shouldn't need a deep socket for trailer balls right? Normally the threads only come through the nut a little bit once the lock washer is on.

Not to be a "spoil sport", but if you're using it for trailer balls, why not just buy a cheap 3/4" drive impact set from HF.

For less than $30 and for occasional use, these are a good buy (made in Taiwan) and they have a replacement warranty.

Why spend money on high buck tools when they only get used twice a year.

I would go with the deep socket I used to do alot of hitch istalations when I worked at a rental store and sometimes more thread sticks out then would work with a shallow socket I have a Snap On one and used it most every day at least once

Mainly because I have a 1/2" Impact. I guess I could get an adapter though. And I would rather buy a USA socket. Just personal preference though
