$1 clock/neon light

I went to a garage sale and noticed a vintage car style clock for a $1. I noticed while looking at the back it's made in USA so I bought it. Later noticed the neon tube inside the dial. Found out it takes a 9V power supply and I had a spare in the garage already and it works!
Pretty happy about it.

Thanks I try. I'm pretty happy with it. It's USA made and I brought it back to life. What more could you ask for?
I need to find something to cover the cord though. It looks kinda trashy with a cord hanging from it.
My wife liked it so much she let me hang it in the kitchen! lol
Now if I could just find one of those beer signs where it looks like the water is moving when it's plugged in. That would really set off (in my mind anyway)

Hahaha. I like mine, it was free and it's slick and modern, but yours has neon and is just totally garagey. Haha. I would pay $1 for it 20 times over!

There's a company that makes something that's basically hidden wire in plain sight. It's a flat strip of band that glues to the wall, then you paint over all of it and you can't even tell it's there, other than the wall plug feeding it.

I saw it on one of the diy channels. They basically put two wall fixtures in a living room and used that set up to power them. I pretty sure it was an online store though, it didn't come from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Yeah I'm trying to find something like this to use.

They have a whole section of that stuff at Home Depot and Lowes - look in electrical or where they sell the light switches, cable, and CAT 5 connectors
