I through I would share with yall my progress over short trip to our retirement home. Im mainly focusing on our bathroom, so we can start staying in house instead of renting room. Y’all have help out lot answering questions about everything preventing to bathroom. Thanks for all help.
This trip I had to do some framing so I could install our shower valve so that it would be on center with drain. I install valve so that could be able to move it up few “ or lower it “ or two. So that maybe it would fall into center of 8” tile. I sent lot time getting depth right so that after durock and tile installed that cover plate would work(hope) Putting straight edge across studs I’ll will need to do some shimming, so I pick up sheet door shin plywood to help with that.
I also work on finishing up installing 6” Rockwool insulation on wall that separates living space and my shop. Now I can run my AC help keep it little cool. I put up shower curtain over opening for where door be leading into shop from living space.
Short trip this time but was able to see little production plus mow yard. Dang it’s hot
Added pic of backside of wall which shows insulation to top.
