Metabo is really stingy with marketing support, they don't give their vendors much in terms of discounts, maybe once or twice a year. Other than the 30% off at Zoro (though they only list a very limited number of Metabo products) that gets thrown out now and then, this is the only time to cash in on some discounts.

I may snag a LiHD battery to try out.

Yeah, I noticed some prices went up from a few weeks ago when I was shopping, but it's not across the board, some have even gone further down.

Perhaps one sale ending and another one starting.
