I can't confirm that but the pics from Sears are the 150 series and the pic from TS says "70" on the 1/4 chisel

when you blow both pics up there is a noticable difference in product quality, the sears ones, at least from the pics look higher end

same product, i.e. the 150 series is selling for $70 plus on ebay

Well that is a special 150th Anniversary set, so I'd assume that is where the 150 comes from. Doesn't seem like it's a "series" or tier to me. I would imagine, however, that their Anniversary set is a higher quality set.

yes it is a series from their product catalogue

looking at the catalogue, it seems the TS ones are the "cold chisel" line

definitely lower quality

Okay. I'll bite.

Enrolled in the 90 day free shipping with Shop Your Way Max. Then applied a couple bucks of points I had. Doesn't look like you can use coupon codes on "Closeout" deals.

$22 bucks to my door. From the little bit of web research I did, the 150 line is the high end line, and some people think the Snap-on is a re-badged 150 Mayhew line. So I'm taking the chance. Either way, even if it is not the top of the line, and more middle of the line, for 22 bucks for a 5 piece set, I figure I can't go wrong. The shipping says they will be here next Tuesday, so I'll post some pics when the get here. Also, on the web it looks like it is suppose to come in nice leather pouch, so I'll see if that happens when they get here on Tuesday.

Yes, I knew they were for the pin punches (I quoted the link). But those punches are the same series as the chisels.
