Hey all, I am erecting a 30x40 Q type quonset. I have a couple of questions.
The original building was shipped in 1997 but kept in a barn and never set up. I bought it and found the original manufacturer and was able to order the bolt down kit (instead of the grouted trench it was designed for) and would highly recommend this...
I am about 1/2 assembled now. We stood up the first 3 arches assembled, and then I have been installing one piece at a time using a scissor lift since then. Working by myself I can get 1 24" arch installed in about 3 hours...using a scissor lift. I am by no means a young guy (approaching 60) but the panels are not that heavy. I have fabricated a magnet socket to aid in tightening the bolts by yourself...
My question is how much lighting do I need? This will primarily be a auto workshop for me and my kids. I will be installing a lift. Anyone got a good floorpan?
Second question is insulation. Has anyone done it successfully other than spray foam?$$$
Here's a couple of pictures for reference. Thanks
