40 volt battery not charging in my garage, moved charger to kitchen still no lights on charger or battery. Neighbor has same tool, bring my charger and battery over to his house, plugs it in and everything lights up. Come back home plug it in and everything lights up again. There is nothing wrong with my outlets but could someone help me out here, I'm baffled.

Had you just been using the battery, especially in a saw? Chargers will refuse to charge hot batteries, no matter how you threaten them. Once the battery has cooled down, the charger will get with the program and charge the battery. If I put a fresh battery in my bosch 12v multi-saw copy and run it WFO until it is dead, sometimes it takes a few minute before the charger lights up.

No, I had no lights for a while on charger or battery. It now has charged fully. I even called ryobi and he had no idea.
