Just in time to offset the ratchet price increases.

I bought the long 3/8 flex ratchet when it was $5 off a couple weeks ago ($33). It is a surprisingly nice ratchet so far.

Hello, I'm John Amash, the CEO of Tekton. In this note, I'd like to tell you a little about us. We're a family-owned company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with around 120 employees. When I think about the standards we set for our company, two words especially come to mind: excellence and authenticity.
Excellence: We believe in doing things the right way. It takes a lot of work to make a great hand tool: the right materials, the right design, and the right manufacturing methods, to start. There are many ways to compromise and few paths to making things precisely right. One of our foundational principles is that we put function first. The tool should be reliable and work incredibly well. Function comes ahead of aesthetics, and this also means we don't follow marketing trends for their own sake. Inside the company, I often use the phrase “mechanical instruments” to describe the tools we make. It helps remind me where to focus our efforts. An instrument has to work exactly right. It’s refined. And it’s thoughtfully engineered. But it’s not fancy or trendy and doesn’t have to come in lots of packaging. It’s exactly what an expert user needs to carry out his or her work with the highest level of skill and refinement. We have amazing employees who insist on excellence at every step. We believe in doing what's right for you even when it’s hard for us. We also believe in making access to our tools fast and efficient with a great website and great customer support.
Authenticity: Our long-term success comes from being on your side and being open with you. We tell you about tool specifications, about country of origin, and much more. Even more fundamentally, we think every day about acting on your behalf. We understand you are entrusting us with your money and we are making tools for you. That’s why we ask ourselves: How would you want us to make this tool? What materials and engineering choices matter to you? We believe that our growth follows directly from your satisfaction with our tools and the experience of working with us.If you're already a user of Tekton tools, thank you. If you're not, we hope you'll have an opportunity to try our tools soon. To encourage you to try a new tool from us, we're offering current and new Tekton tool users $5 off a Tekton.com order this week with the use of the promo code:

I ordered a 1/4 nut driver to make repairing washer and dryer easier. I used to use 1/4 ratchets with 1/4 sockets. It works. But I do not have to rig up anything now.

Anyone knows about an easy way to magnetize a 1/4 nut driver? The screws fell all the time and it was annoying.

Thanks, I received the email but I missed the code. I ordered a locking chain clamp. I had a few bucks on my rewards, so it only cost me about $9.

Don't forget to add your free Socket Rail Label Sheet

Should work the same as magnetizing a screwdriver. Take a strong magnet and stick it to the shank of the tool near the handle. Then slide it down to the working end of the tool and off the end. Repeat a few times and it should magnetize the driver.

I got the same e-mail, but there was nothing I wanted or needed. This morning I realized that I reach for my Tekton philips head screwdriver the most, so I decided to get a matching flat head for $1.08
